BAR- looking for editors, reviewers!

BAR is an open access journal.  Articles in the journal are free to access, download, share, and re-use from any part of the world. BAR articles are published open access under a CC BY license (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License). The CC BY license allows for maximum dissemination and re-use of open access materials and is preferred by many research funding bodies. Under this license users are free to share (copy, distribute and transmit) and remix (adapt) the contribution including for commercial purposes, providing they attribute the contribution in the manner specified by the author or licensor (read full legal code).

Benefits of open access

Open access publication can lead to:

  • Increased citation and usage
  • Greater public engagement
  • Faster impact
  • Broader collaboration
  • Increased interdisciplinary interaction

As costs are involved in every stage of the publication process, from peer review to copy editing and hosting the final article on dedicated servers, authors will be asked to pay an article processing charge (APC) in order for their article to be published open access, without access control. By paying the one-off APC, authors can post the final, published PDF of their article on a web site, institutional repository or other free public server, immediately on publication.

Volume 1 , Issue 1 is free.
